September is here and it's a miracle, overnight a lot of people disappeared from Rota and there are even a few empty parking spots available. Could this be the end of summer already?

The schedule for cultural, and entertainment events presented by the Rota Ayuntamiento is in a pamphlet published quarterly  by the Ayuntamiento (City government) and is available for viewing.

Please <click> on this link 3nd Quarter - 2008 to view the schedule.

The Spanish News page has been expanded for the convenience of our readers with selected news items that are deemed to be of general interest. As always you can visit the Typically Spanish News website for all the latest news about Spain in English.

The Rota & Others Towns link will take you to a page from which you can follow links to Rota, Cadiz, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa Maria at present and future pages are planned for Jerez, Chipiona, etc. So keep coming back to visit if you should be interested in seeing photos from these towns.

The Photo gallery contains a variety of photos from our part of the world and is a general catch-all for photos that don't seem to relate to any specific page in our website.

Please feel free to have a look through these pages. There are links to various websites from towns, and tourist offices in our area, as well as other sites relating to Naval Station Rota and tenant commands. There is also a contact page where email addresses of cronies and other entities are to be found.

If you are an absent Crony, your email address can be added to those already present on request to Webmaster.

I should emphasize that all the opinions and views express within these pages are not from any official source, but rather are from our collective experiences and should not be taken to represent the view of either the Spanish or any other government body.
